Jacob Hancock joined JPC in 2022 as an Assistant Site Manager, as part of his Construction Project Management BSc at UWE Bristol. Supporting the Site Manager, he ensures the works on site run smoothly and safely.
Jacob previously worked at Sweet Construct, while studying for his BTEC HNC (level 4) Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment. At JPC, he is keen to take on greater responsibility and excel on projects where he can have an impact.
With strong communication skills and a willingness to learn, Jacob prides himself on being meticulous and making sure the client is fully satisfied with the end result.
John Perkins Construction were a joy to work with and they delivered a superb new weather deck for the SS Great Britain on time and to budget. Sean was an excellent site manager and together with the Perkins team we received regular communications. They paid close attention to health and safety matters and demonstrated a total team approach to problem solving. Added challenges included delivering the project whilst always keeping the weather deck open to visitors and enduring some of the wettest weather on record in Bristol in the early part of 2024. I would have no hesitation in working with them again on another heritage project.
