Rupert Perkins joined the company in 1998, after working on a series of major projects in London for Taylor Woodrow Construction. Following a 20-year tenure as Contracts Director, he became the company’s Managing Director in 2020, with a focus on boosting efficiency and developing new systems for smarter working.
He is also President of the South West Builders Federation; a Non-Executive Director of the Building Safety Group; an Ambassador for the Considerate Constructors Scheme; and a member of CITB’s Industry Funding Committee.
In 2022, Rupert was delighted to be appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director to the Board of People’s Partnership, provider of The People’s Pension.
Rupert Perkins is a credit to John Perkins Construction. We were able to get through a difficult project due, in no small part, to his hard work. He was always available on the phone, and paid a lot of care and attention to the project.
